The RELIANT EMU Electronic Monitoring Device from Alcohol Countermeasure Systems (ACS) is the portable alcohol monitoring device we offer. The device connects to a smartphone via bluetooth and RELIANT EMU phone application.

They are commonly court-ordered as an alternative to the ignition interlock for offenders who don’t drive or own vehicles. Similar to most alcohol monitoring devices in vehicles, the RELIANT EMU takes a photo with every test using the smartphone’s camera.

The device reports the subject’s picture and makes it available to the monitoring authority for photo-matching.

The RELIANT EMU is a pocket sized portable breathalyzer that weighs less than 2-lbs. It connects to a smartphone with a phone app via bluetooth connection.
